1. Create and account in ´Mijn Belastingdienst´.
First of all, you will need to create an account in ´Mijn Belastingdienst´. For that purpose, you will only need a DigiD username and password, which you can order by filling at this link: https://digid.nl/aanvragen.

2. Fill in your personal details in ´Mijn Belastingdienst´.
The second step is to fill in your personal details. For this step, it is important to be accurate with the numbers. However, you can find all the info you need on your paychecks.
Both app and website are very intuitive. Therefore, you will know what you need to write in each step. But don´t forget that writing the right information is key. Otherwise, the process will take longer and we do not want that! So, it may be a good idea to keep your payslips nearby.
After filling in your details, your taxes will be directly calculated, as well as an estimated payment date. In addition, this information will be also sent to you by email.
3. Sit and wait!
Congratulations, all the steps are completed! So, it is time to be patient and wait for your taxes to get back to your Dutch bank account. Probably you will get them after a couple of months, don´t stress too much!
