Recruitment Process Streamlined: What to Expect

At GP-Connect, we understand that the recruitment process can be daunting. That’s why we’ve designed a streamlined, transparent process that ensures you’re always in the loop, with minimal stress and maximum clarity. From the moment you apply to the day you start your new role, you’ll have a designated recruitment specialist that will keep in in contact with you and guide you every step of the way.

1. Candidate Application

The first step in your journey with us is your application. You can apply for any of our open positions through various channels: our website, social media, email, or via one of our external recruiters located in different countries. Usually, the most preferred channel for application by directly sending your CV via mail at: recruitment@gp-connect.com

Tip: Always make sure your CV is in English to ensure a smooth evaluation process. CV’s that are written in other languages than English will not taken into consideration!

2. First Contact with the Candidate

Once we receive your application, you’ll get an email with a link to Willo, our online application platform. Here, you’ll upload a 1-minute video showcasing your English skills, professional attitude, preferences, and experience. The beauty of Willo is its flexibility—upload your video at a time that suits you best. But don’t forget! the fastest you upload your video, the faster your application process will be!

3. Reference Check

To ensure you’re the perfect fit for the role and the team, we perform a thorough reference check. We’ll contact your previous employers to verify your behavior and capabilities. This step helps us match you with the ideal employer, making your transition as smooth as possible.

4. Offer

If you meet our criteria, we’ll find the best job offer for you, typically within two days. You’ll receive this offer via WhatsApp, complete with all the details you need—location, salary, accommodation, benefits, and tasks. Do you have any questions? Feel free to text your contact person via WhatsApp.

5. Introduction to the Client

Did you accept the offer? We’ll present your resume and Willo video to the employer. If they approve, you’re one step closer to your new job. In the unlikely event of the employer not accepting your application, we’ll continue searching for the perfect match for both you and your future employer.

6. Documentation

Once the employer gives the green light, we’ll move forward with the contract. At this point, we’ll ask for some essential documentation—home address, bank account details, and a photo ID or passport. Immediately after the contract is signed, you’ll need to book your flight. Your flight booking confirmation is crucial to finalizing the hiring process. Without your flight booking confirmation we are not able to hold your job position until you arrive in The Netherlands.

7. Support

The assigned contact person will assist you in finding the best travel options from your home country. Upon arrival in the Netherlands, you’ll go straight to your new workplace, where your manager will greet you and show your new accommodation. Typically, you’ll start work the next day. If you don’t have a BSN number, we’ll arrange an appointment for you during your first week.

We also provide ongoing support throughout your entire stay while working with GP-Connect. If you encounter any issues with your employer or with your integration process, we’re here to help make it right. From the moment you land to your first days on the job, your dedicated contact person is just a what’s app away, ensuring you’re never left in the dark and receive the proper support when adapting to your new job and relocation in The Netherlands.
